Clémence Nash, Ph.D.
Executive Technical Service & C.O.W.S.® Program Manager, North America
With her deep knowledge of animal welfare and dairy production, Dr. Nash is helping NOVUS create connections between its dairy assessment service – C.O.W.S.® Program – and its commercial business, developing strategies for value-added services that support dairy customers in North America.
Returning to NOVUS for a second time, Dr. Nash started her professional career with the company as ruminant business lead in Canada before joining Cargill as the commercial ruminant lead for North America. Her most recent role was as sustainable production manager for animal care and traceability with the Dairy Farmers of Canada.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Guelph (Canada) and her doctorate in epidemiology from the Ontario Veterinary College (Canada).
She is a member of the American Dairy Science Association, the Canadian Dairy Research Network, and Campbell’s Centre for the Study of Animal Welfare.
She speaks English and French.
