Southeast Europe Sees New Perspectives on Intelligent Nutrition

REUS, SPAIN (October 11, 2024) – Marta Concas is a problem solver. As the Southeast Europe sales manager for NOVUS, she and her colleagues are working with poultry and swine customers to solve their production challenges.

“What I enjoy the most about my career in animal agriculture is understanding how people try to manage specific problems,” Concas says. “What strategies do they adopt to improve animal performance and well-being? What can I add to those solutions or adjust in those circumstances to make a difference?”

Working with customers in Italy, Israel, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Israel, Concas brings an extensive range of knowledge and experience to her role.

“We were searching for an experienced professional with deep knowledge of the sector, and with good negotiating and technical skills,” says Xavier Casas, senior regional sales manager for the south Europe region. “Marta certainly met those requirements.”

Her talent for business development and product positioning allows her to create strategies that help customers improve animal performance, health and welfare through intelligent nutrition.

Concas began her career in the feed additives market. Before joining NOVUS, she served as technical sales manager at Phileo by Lesaffre. She also spent time at Eigenmann & Veronelli as international technical and sales manager and at ADM as area sales manager for the Pancosma portfolio of products.

Concas earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in animal production from the University of Sassari in Italy. She also has a master’s degree in management from Politecnico di Milano School of Management in Italy.

“For generations, my family has been in the agriculture sector,” Concas says. “The love and passion for this sector has been passed down to me as an inheritance.”
