NOVUS Business Manager Strengthening Partnerships in Brazil

INDAIATUBA, BRAZIL (October 28, 2024) – Growing up in a family of farmers, Rodrigo Bernardi is bringing his lifelong experience and understanding of the industry in Brazil to colleagues and customers alike.

As the regional business manager for NOVUS in Brazil, Bernardi is accountable for strengthening relationships with current poultry, swine, and dairy customers, accelerating relationships with new stakeholders, and encouraging cross-functional work among his sales and technical service teams.

He said he works to understand a customer’s needs and find solutions that fit their unique circumstances.

“Even in a single country, no two farms are alike. Producers have unique management styles and practices, nutritionists have different goals to meet. This is why it’s important to hear the customer and respond to their needs,” he says.

NOVUS Commercial Director for Latin America Alessandro Lima said Bernardi possesses unique skills that allow him to connect with customers in a more personal way.

“Along with great technical skills, he’s very people-oriented. Rodrigo wants to create lasting partnerships,” Lima says. “He’s going to make a difference for animal performance and customer profitability because he balances a strategic view with excellent execution.”

Before joining NOVUS, Bernardi served as regional business director for SAN Group, as commercial manager and then national sales manager at SANPHAR Saúde Animal Ltda., and as broiler production supervisor at BRF.

He earned his degree in veterinary medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria and his master’s degree in animal production at the Federal University of Grande Dourados.
